Esther is a geopolitical analyst at Gatehouse Advisory Partners. Prior to this, she completed an MSc in African Studies at Oxford University. Her thesis, which focused on democratisation in Southern Africa, was awarded the departmental prize for the most outstanding dissertation performance in her cohort.

After finishing her MSc, she was subsequently offered two DPhil (PhD) places in the Politics and Area Studies departments, before she instead chose to pursue a career in geopolitical consultancy.
